The chassis extension for the Ford Transit in the Normal specification (from year of construction 2000) forms the load-bearing foundation for all rear-mounted accessories on your motorhome. If you currently have no chassis extension, or one that is insufficiently load-bearing, this provides the basis for retrofitting a tow bar (AHK) or a rear bike rack to your motorhome. The SMV chassis extension is supplied at a maximum length of 1500 mm and can be cut to the required length to suit each individual motorhome type.
