The compressor for air suspension by SMV is the ideal compressed air source for inflating the auxiliary air spring system in your motorhome or panel van, allowing you to adjust it to your load and road conditions. The 12-volt compressor delivers a maximum pressure of 10 bar and an output of approximately 35 litres per minute, enabling you to reach the desired bellows pressure rapidly. Via the 6 mm connection, the compressor can be connected directly to common air spring systems with 6/4 mm tubing.

What is the Compressor Used For?

This compressor generates the compressed air used to inflate the air bellows of an auxiliary air spring system. This allows you to compensate for uneven loading and restore the rear of the vehicle to its normal ride height under full load. Compared with inflating via an external compressed air source, you can regulate the pressure at any time yourself – directly from within the vehicle.

The compressor is suitable for supplementing auxiliary air spring systems with 6 mm air line in motorhomes and panel vans, including the Fiat Ducato.
