Chassis Extension for Mercedes Sprinter 408–416 and VW LT (1996–2006) – Stable Base for Tow Bar and Rear Bike Rack

The chassis extension for the Mercedes Sprinter 408–416 (4-series) and the VW LT forms the load-bearing foundation for all further rear-mounted accessories on your caravan or motorhome. It is suitable for vehicles of the years of construction 1996 to 2006 that have no chassis extension or one with insufficient load capacity. The set serves as the foundation upon which a tow bar (AHK), rear bike rack or motorcycle carrier can subsequently be fitted.

• Surface: Hot-dip galvanised for lasting corrosion protection, even with year-round use.
• Supplied length: Supplied at a maximum length of 1500 mm and cut to the length required for the respective motorhome type prior to installation.
• Nose weight: Rated for up to 150 kg nose weight at the subsequent rear coupling.
• Scope of delivery: Chassis extension including reinforcement kit (RV+V set).
• Approval: Supplied with an EC type-approval certificate for use in compliance with registration requirements.
